29pearlsinmykiss This is an absolute masterpiece! Aurelio, does the vinyl come with lyrics? Okay, back to melting into the magic that is this beautiful album!

Jason S. I wish Calla would make another album, but this is the next best thing. Favorite track: Superhawk.

Razvan Porumb What a unique, mystical, exciting album this is! Coming from Calla frontman, Aurelio Valle, this album carries forth some of the band's characteristic sun-burnt anguish, that smokiness and oakiness, that sense of anxiety suffusing the vast mysterious canyons. It would be a mistake however to think of it as just another Calla-related album, despite some predictable similarities. This is very much Valle's own album - and all the better for it. Left to his own devices and given ample time, Valle unleashes his creative potential, mixing genres, styles, rhythms, noises, whispers, melodies as he sees fit, while enveloping everything in a dark fuzzy production signature which ensures all remains unified and firmly anchored in his sonic universe. The resulting rarely-heard blend of slow core, pop, rock, soundtrack, remix and electronica, with ethnic and experimental touches is incredibly satisfying, rhythmically infectious and certainly deserves to be better known. His (unexpected) collaboration with The Cardigan's singer, Nina Persson, 'Electraglide' is a pop gem with a twist which could/should become a mainstream hit. Overall one of the truly special releases of the past years. Everyone MUST give it a listen!
